Chabuya

Japanese chain with super high-quality ramen, I like it almost as much as Shinsengumi. Very tender chashu/sliced pork and excellent broth. Open late, too. Amusing pork sandwich is made with sweet dough similar to Cantonese cha siu bao.

Hey Simon, you need to check out the Empanadas place on Sawtelle at Venice. I particularly like the one that is a bit lemony. It is best to eat it hot but you can also get take out if you have to go to the lab and work!
GR/eats is surprisingly good. You should really try it out. Multi- ethnic food ranging from Paella to vietnamese spring rolls to thai curry to chilean sea bass.
